We believe that regular homework encourages self-discipline in children as well as giving parents an insight into their child’s education. We encourage children to read everyday and to also practice their times tables. In addition to this there will be weekly homework set to include Maths, English and spellings. The amount of homework increases during Year 6 in preparation for transfer to secondary school. If, however, your child is unable to complete the work, for any reason, then please contact the teacher, who will offer further guidance. Parental support is most welcome and is regarded as being great importance.
